This page covers every way to opt in to a text from Bird Bam Beth: what each one sends, how often, and how to stop it. For everything else we collect, see our Privacy Policy.

The two ways to opt in

There are two separate checkboxes, on two separate forms, and ticking one never ticks the other:

Booking a private lesson. You opt in by ticking the reminder box on our booking form at book.birdbambeth.com. This is the program that actually sends a text today -- see "Message frequency" below.
Buying an event ticket, or joining a waitlist. Tick the box on the checkout or waitlist form at birdbambeth.com, when you book a seat at one of Beth's ticketed events. Only the person buying the ticket is asked; a guest seat on the same order is never texted. Nothing sends from this one yet -- see the note right below.

Both boxes start out unticked, and ticking either one is never a condition of booking or buying anything.

The event checkbox doesn't send a text yet

We built the opt-in before we built the sending, on purpose -- the checkbox exists so a record of your consent exists before anything is sent, not after. If you tick it at checkout or on the waitlist today, we save that you agreed and nothing else happens: no text arrives. Once event reminders actually go live, this page will say what they send and how often, the same way it already does for the lesson program below.

Message frequency

Two kinds of text, both about a private lesson you booked: one reminder the day before, and one each time the time or place changes. A lesson that never moves gets one text, and every move after that adds one more. Usually that is one or two texts per booking. No promotions, no sales, ever.

That is everything either program sends today. The event checkbox still sends nothing at all -- see the note above.

Msg & data rates may apply. Your own carrier's message and data rates may apply to every text we send. We never charge you anything for these texts ourselves.

Opting in and out

STOP

Reply STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any text and we stop right away, no other action needed.

START

Reply START, YES, or UNSTOP to a stopped number and we start sending reminders again.

HELP

Reply HELP or INFO any time and we text back how to reach us. You can also just email beth@birdbambeth.com and we'll take you off the list, no keyword required.
